Beaute Sauvage Safaris is a company registered in Uganda by URSB (Uganda Registration Services Bureau) under registration number 80034777232927.
Our UTB (Uganda Tourism Board) license number is UTB/RTT/TO/2023/100816.

1.0 APPLICATION OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions govern how we execute the Tour/Safari packages that we offer to our clients.

Whoever, please note these terms and conditions do not apply to

  1. Gorilla Permits
  2. Chimpanzee Permits
  3. Air Tickets (Both Domestic and International)
  4. Travel and Medical Insurance Covers

1.1 Gorilla and Chimpanzee permit terms and conditions can be accessed by clicking this link (Gorilla and Chimpanzee booking terms and conditions).

1.2 Air Ticket rules are always provided when you buy an air ticket. If not, you should check with the Airline or your Travel Agent to know the rules that apply to your Air Ticket.

1.3 Travel insurance terms and conditions will be provided by the Insurance Company that issued the Policy you will be holding.

2.0 YOUR BOOKING WITH BEAUTE SAUVAGE SAFARIS

To be able create bookings, we always require you to provide full passport and contact information of all visitors who will be part of the booking.

3.0 PAYING FOR YOUR TRIP

  1. When you make a booking, you must pay a deposit of 40% of the booking amount. You will be required to pay the balance not later than 45 days before the safari start date.
  2. Chimpanzee and Gorilla permits must be paid 100% upfront in case the itinerary includes Gorilla or Chimpanzee permits. These will immediately be bought from the responsible Government Agencies on your behalf.
  3. The remaining balance of any booking must be paid at least 45 days before the safari departure date unless agreed differently.
  4. If for any reason, the outstanding amount as per booking is not paid as agreed, Beaute Sauvage Safaris has the right to cancel your travel arrangements and act as per these terms and conditions.
  5. Payment can be made in Uganda Shillings or United States Dollars (USD) by Cash, Bank Deposit, Bank Transfer and Debit or Credit card.
    Note that payments by Card attract a service charge of 3.5-5% (of the amount to be paid) to be bourne by the paying party.

4.0 CHANGES TO BOOKING

If you request to change or make amendments to your booking;

If, after you have already made a deposit for your booking and wish to change the arrangement in any way, it is acceptable. We will do our best to advise the possibility of effecting the changes.

Any requests for changes to a confirmed booking have to be made by the person (the Lead person in case of a group)  who made the booking by sending us an email on info@bssafaris.com  requesting for the changes.

Prior to effecting the changes, we will advise any changes in the booking  schedules, amenities, pricing or anything affected by the changes and all that is required to effect the changes.

5.0 CANCELLATION OF THE BOOKING

You or any member in a group booking requests to cancel your booking;

This is acceptable as per these terms and conditions. Any such requests for cancellation for the booking have to be made by the person (the Lead person in case of a group) who made the booking by writing to us through our email info@bssafaris.com.

Below are the cancellation charges based on the date when the cancellation request has been received by Beaute Sauvage Safaris on our email info@bssafaris.com

Please be reminded that these cancellation charges do not apply to Gorilla and Chimpanzee permits.

6.0 IF WE CHANGE OR CANCEL YOUR BOOKING

We reserve the right to cancel all or part of your booking in the case of unforeseeable, unavoidable circumstances that are beyond our control.

7.0 EXECUTION OF THE TOUR

7.1 It is a privilege to see the wildlife and it’s our utmost desire that client views them in their natural habitat and as such the guide and ranger will use their experience and knowledge to ensure that you view all game possible during the game drive. However,  we cannot guarantee that the animals will be in sight as expected.

7.2 Beaute Sauvage Safaris reserves the right to substitute equivalent hotel if the booked Hotel is no longer available due to unforeseen circumstances. If a hotel or equivalent standard is not available, Beaute Sauvage Safaris may substitute the next best quality hotel or suggest another accommodation at available rates.

7.3 The mode of transport used will be dependent on the number of clients and the route taken, based on the specifications of the chosen itinerary. Every effort is made to ensure that vehicles are provided in a roadworthy condition but no liability can be accepted for a tyre puncture, breakdown, damage, or any delay as a result of the conditions not caused by the company. In case of vehicle not being able to continue the journey, Beaute Sauvage Safaris reserves the right to  avail another suitable vehicle to continue the tour.


7.4 If the guide who has been attending to you on a safari falls ill or is not able to continue to drive/guide you on a safari, Beaute Sauvage Safaris reserves the right to substitute with another driver/guide who is available at the time. Please note that we only employ professionally trained guides who will always ensure that your tour experience remains memorable.

7.5 Beaute Sauvage Safaris reserves the right to alter any route or arrangement, to cancel the operation of any scheduled tour or vary the safari services in the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as road closures, bad weather, problems with national parks or hotels and security considerations. In such cases, alternative arrangements will be made as circumstances permit.

7.6 Beaute Sauvage Safaris reserves the right to refuse any person from participating or continuing any tour if, in Beaute Sauvage Safaris’ opinion or in the opinion of any other person in authority, the person concerned behaves in such a way as to cause or be likely to cause danger, hazard or inconvenience to any third party, damage to property or to environments and ecosystems. No refunds will be made and Beaute Sauvage Safaris shall not be liable for expenses incurred as a result of the termination.

7.7 You are always advised to follow the safety guidelines, instructions from rangers, camp staff with regards to getting close to the wild animals and guidelines of staying in or around the national park. At times wild animals may move freely during times and therefore the park rules of movement must be strictly adhered to. Beaute Sauvage Safaris cannot be held responsible for any injury or incident on the trip.

8.0 COMPLAINTS

8.1 Beaute Sauvage Safaris shall always do everything possible to ensure that the service provided exceeds the expectations in every area of the tour arrangement. We however always positively welcome all suggestions presented in order to keep improving the quality of our service or service of the service providers therein.

8.2 Complaints must be reported immediately to the Beaute Sauvage Safaris trip

manager or driver guide who will do their best to resolve the matter.
If it is not resolved locally, please follow up within 27 days since the end of the trip by writing to info@bssafaris.com

8.3 Liability for any complaints not notified in accordance with these terms and conditions will not be accepted.

9.0 LIABILITY

It is important to note that Beaute Sauvage Safaris provides services in cooperation with independent suppliers such as hotels, restaurants, airlines and others

9.1 Beaute Sauvage Safaris will make every effort to ensure that all arrangements and services offered as part of the safari are carried out as specified in the most efficient way possible. However, the company does not have direct control of the provision of services by most suppliers and, whilst every supplier is chosen with the utmost care, Beaute Sauvage Safaris does not accept liability for errors or omissions of such suppliers.

9.2 Beaute Sauvage Safaris shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature whatsoever whether to person or property.

9.3 Whilst every care is taken to ensure baggage or personal effects safety, Beaute Sauvage Safaris cannot be held responsible for the direct or indirect costs of loss or damage to baggage or personal effects or possessions.

9.4 Beaute Sauvage Safaris cannot accept liability or pay compensation for unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the company or its staff, including flight delays/cancellations or force majeure such as war or threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist acts, border closure, acts of government or other authorities, strikes, thefts, epidemics, road closures, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disaster, extreme weather conditions, fire, technical and/or mechanical problems to transport and all similar events beyond the company’s control.

9.5 It is the responsibility of the client that they have insurance cover for the entire duration of stay when coming for a Safari. The insurance must include adequate cover for medical expenses and the cost of repatriation to their home country should need arise.

9.6 We reserve the right at any time to require a client to confirm their fitness to participate in a safari. If you are affected by any condition, medical or otherwise, that might affect your or other peoples enjoyment of the safari, you must advise us of this at the time of booking. If we reasonably feel that we are unable to accommodate the needs of any client who has particular health requirements, we reserve the right to decline or cancel their reservation when we become aware of these details.
Cancellation charges as per these terms and conditions will apply.


10.0 YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

10.1 You must review the current travel advice of your safari holiday destination before booking and ensure that you remain up to date with this advice before travelling.

10.2 Your specific passport, visa, and other immigration requirements are your responsibility. You should confirm these with the relevant Embassies or Consulates. We do not accept any responsibility if you cannot travel because you have not complied with any passport, visa or immigration requirements.

You must also ensure that your vaccination certificates are in order and that you have taken the advice of your doctor with regard to vaccinations.

We will offer general advice but cannot be held responsible if you do not comply with current requirements before your departure.

We do not accept liability for any advice given of a general nature before the holiday commences. You are responsible for a timely check-in for all flights and presenting yourself to take up all pre-booked components of your holiday.

No credit or refund will be given to you should you fail to take up any component of your holiday or lose any travel documents.

If and when we review, adjust, edit or amend any clauses in these terms and conditions, we shall update them here and also send a copy of an updated version to anyone who holds a booking with Beaute Sauvage Safaris Ltd.
