This 4 Day Safari we take you to Uganda’s biggest park Murchison falls National Park situated in Northwestern Uganda on an area of 3,840 square kilometers, gazetted in 1926 as a game reserve.
It is classified with Savannah grasslands and the Victoria Nile that flows through separating it in to two (the northern and southern bank). Murchison falls is a home to over 451 bird species, 76 mammal species, a big number of Nile crocodiles and above all magnificent and thunderous Murchison falls squeezing their way through a gorge that is 8m wide.
All said you will have an opportunity to enjoy game drives and the boat cruises along the Nile River.

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport and transfer to nearby Hotel

Arrive at Entebbe Airport, where a Private Safari Manager will greet you and transfer you to your comfortable hotel nearby.
If you arrive early enough, after you unpack, you may either embark on a thrilling boat ride into the Lake Victoria marshes to the Mabamba Swamp. Here, you will get to track the elusive shoebill stork, a prehistoric-looking bird with its distinctively large, shoe-shaped bill.
The Mabamba Swamp is the most popular birding site in Uganda to observe the rare Shoebill stork, which is classified as vulnerable,meaning the species is at high risk of becoming extinct by Birdlife International.
The 3 hours excursion on a motorized boat is a one of a kind fascinating experience.
Or, you may choose unwind at your hotel, recharging for your upcoming journey into the countryside.

Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park

At 7:30am in the morning, your Safari Driver/Guide will pick you up at your Accommodation, give you an additional briefing of your day’s itinerary and thereafter drive to Murchison falls National Park, across the verdant country side.
Enroute, you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking.
You will arrive at your lodge late afternoon you will have a taste of an evening game drive with a chance to encounter animals taking cover to avoid being spotted by their predators.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Safari

You ready for a dawn game drive after an early cup of coffee. Indulge yourself on bird watching and sightseeing across the open Savannah dotted woodland and riverine vegetation along the Nile and Albert delta.
Here expect to meet elephants. Giraffes, buffalos, lions, leopards, waterbuck and a countless population of unique birds.
After lunch, embark on a three hour boat trip along the Nile to see the falls from the bottom angle. Schools of hippos, crocodiles, antelopes and acquatic birds can be seen along the shores of the river.

Day 3: Visit top of the falls and drive back to Kampala

After your mouth watering breakfast you will drive to the hike of top of the falls, This is where you hike to see the Niles beauty perfected marvel at with a beautiful roar creating the colorful rainbow, a plume of spray and the best thing that happened to the Nile, the “MURCHISON FALLS”
After the hike you will embark on your journey back to Kampala. The driver guide will drop you at your accommodation.
